Policies, management systems and life cycle inventories are only tools to reduce joules, kilos and accident rates.

Since our main objective is to reduce negative environmental, social and economic impact, we have established group objectives for key environmental aspects.

These are our objectives for the end of 2005 (compared to a base level of 1996):
• 20% lower energy use per ton consumable
• 30% lower water use per ton consumable
• 20% lower weight of packaging material
• 15% lower GHG emissions per ton cons
• 30% lower VOC emissions
• 50% less NPO to land per ton consumable
